The WHOLE-istic Healing Festival was a celebratory event for all DPS students, families, educators, and staff that is all about healing through joy and community and connecting people with wellness and mental health resources and tools as we head into summer.

We believe we heal together. We believe we heal in the community. The WHOLE-istic Healing Festival will bring our school communities and families together for a joyful day of healing as we celebrate the end of the school year. At this event we will have a live DJ, local artists' performances, live spoken words performances, activities for all ages, food trucks, giveaways, mental health and wellness resources, dance, yoga, meditation, and more!

FAQ

Will there be food?/¿Habrá comida?

Yes! We will have three food trucks (Bruno’s Burgers, Friendly Taco and Mr. Wingz and Mrs. Thingz) at the event. Thanks to donations, all early attendees will receive a free meal ticket by visiting the Welcome Table. Bottled waters will be provided for attendees, and we suggest bringing a refillable water bottle. Drinks and additional food will also be available for purchase throughout the event./Sí. Gracias a donaciones, todos los asistentes tempranos recibirán un ticket de comida gratis al visitar la Mesa de Bienvenida. Where can I park?/ ¿Dónde me puedo estacionar?

Parking is available around the WG Pearson Center, with additional overflow parking at Lincoln Community Health Center. There will be volunteers throughout the event to help guide you with parking if needed./Habrá estacionamiento disponible alrededor del Centro WG Pearson, con estacionamiento adicional en el Centro Comunitario de Salud Lincoln. Where can I go to get information?/ ¿Dónde puedo obtener información el día del evento?

Please be sure to stop by our Welcome Table to receive a free raffle ticket for giveaway, a meal ticket for each attendee and additional information. Also, feel free to ask a volunteer for any questions you may have, they will have a volunteer lanyard on./ Por favor asegúrese de pasar por nuestra Mesa de Bienvenida para recibir un boleto de rifa, un boleto de comida para cada asistente e información adicional. Can we bring lawn chairs and blankets?/ ¿Podemos llevar sillas de jardín y mantas?

Yes! Feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. In addition, we will have picnic tables for outdoor eating, as well as an indoor seating area./ Sí! Siéntase libre de traer sillas de jardín y mantas para sentarse. Además, tendremos mesas de picnic para comer al aire libre, así como una zona de asientos adentro.

Will there be first aid?/¿Habrá primeros auxilios?

Yes! We will have an outdoor table for the City of Medicine Volunteer Medical Corps by the bounce houses and an indoor space!/ Sí! Tendremos una mesa afuera junto a los castillos inflables y un espacio adentro tambien.
